On June 7, at the Just A Start Annual Meeting, Gordon Gottsche, founder and Executive Director of Just A Start for more than 40 years, announced his intent to retire this year.
The Board of Directors expressed its deep appreciation for his seminal and lasting contributions to the organization and to the City of Cambridge and surrounding communities during his many years of dedicated and inspired service.
"Gordon has been the soul of this organization in creating and sustaining its many program initiatives and in leading the effort to obtain the considerable public and private funding so necessary to their success. He has attracted and retained talented staff and developed the relationships with all our many partners and allies that we will rely upon as we move into the future" said John Henn, Board Chairman.
